RD:  It should be available everywhere. We’re being distributed by Universal and it’s our own label, it’s called CamJam because a lot of us grew up in Camden, New Jersey. And that’s a little reference to our roots. If it’s not in the store, you should be able to order it at  every major online music store.

Smitty:  So there, they can get the complete history on you cats and what you’ve worked on in the past, some of your past projects.

RD:  Right, and most of the fellows have individual past projects. In this area we’re like kind of an all star band with different genres. We have horn players like Michael Pedicin, Jr. and Angel Velez in the band, we’ve got veterans from the old South Soul Orchestra, and some of the top Latin guys out of New York and Philly. So it’s a real honor to be with these fellows and they’re all pretty good guys, and of course my partner in this project, Edgardo Cintron, he’s the frontman out there.

Smitty:  Very cool.  I hope to see you cats live because if it’s anything like this record, it’s gotta be a party.  (Both laughing.)

RD:  Oh yeah. The good thing about having a big band is even if nobody comes to watch you it’s a party.

Smitty:  (Laughs.)  Yeah, exactly.  You’re sold out regardless.  That’s too cool. Well, please allow me to congratulate you on this great record and what you cats have accomplished over the years, and for keeping it interesting and keeping it cool.

RD:  I appreciate that. Thank you.

Smitty:  Yes, we certainly look forward to catching you live, and hopefully I’ll get to bust out my salsa moves.
