    Jason Sylvain, AKA ‘JJ’ Sylvain is an artist, songwriter and native Georgian who lives by the mantra ‘Go confidently in the direction of your dreams’. Jason began his journey in church, where he learned how to sing in an ensemble and at the tender age of 10 he was accepted into the Atlanta Boy Choir. From then his musical exploits soared and to date, Jason has performed in over 300 cities, worldwide, including Russia.

    The Movers & Shakers are a dynamic collaboration of family and friends. Their live performances have become the stuff of legend in the Rocky Mountain region. The band’s energy and chemistry are the result of longstanding friendships and family members. Each member is either related or has one or more friendships in the group which date back a decade or more. Our style is rock and soul straight from the heart. We come to play! Play what? Original music that is informed by everything from 60’s soul music, blues, contemporary alt rock and even post punk. Band members ages range from mid twenties to mid sixties.
