Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the premiere performance of Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale (L'Histoire du Soldat), a special afternoon presentation of the work by a 9 piece ensemble featuring Ondrej Lewit violin, Robert Zelickman clarinet, David Savage bassoon, Calvin Price trumpet, Devin Burnworth trombone, Matt Kline bass, Heather Barclay percussion, Chuck Perrin narration, & Alyze Dreiling conductor
Events are held at Arias Hall - located behind the Musician's Association building at 1717 Morena Blvd 92110, just North of Tecolote in Bay Park. Take the Tecolote exit off of 5 freeway, head East to the stoplight at Morena Blvd North. Turn left, stay in the left lane & follow 1 mile (through 2 stop lights). At the 2nd light turn right on Morena Blvd & look for the Musicians Local 325 building about 800 feet on your right. Turn right & go to the back - there you will find the entrance to Arias Hall. There is parking behind the building (40 spots) & also along Morena Blvd, both before & after the building.
