Two Shows 7:30 PN and 9:30 PM Cristina Pato is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and leading virtuoso on the Galician bagpipes (gaita). She has collaborated with the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Arturo O’Farril, Paquito D’Rivera, and dancers Damian Woetzel and Lil Buck. She is also an active member of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble.
With Jazz in the New Harmonic, David Chesky fuses 21st century classical harmonies with the rhythms of the city to create a new style of jazz. Both in concert and in the studio, this project has received numerous awards for its provocative and cerebral approach to the classical/jazz blend.
