GOT IT DOWN is an original composition by pianist and composer Walter Duda. The tune was originally recorded as a vocal song on analog tape, then the individual tracks were transferred to digital format.

This single is an instrumental version remixed with a new arrangement and new drum tracks and features saxophonist Marion Meadows added to the original recording musicians comprised of bassist Will Lee, drummer Dave Weckl and guitarist Al Ferrante. The track was edited and mixed in New York City at World Alert Music by Grammy award producer Jeff Jones.
