"Whisper of the Isolated Ones" is Roger Lin's first album release as a leader. The album features pianist Ryosuke Tsutsui, bassist Soso Gelovani, drummer Nick Groat, and trumpeter, regular member of the Jerry Bergonzi Quartet, Phil Grenadier.
Roger Lin is a Taiwanese guitarist born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and now based in Brooklyn New York. He moved to the US in 2016 for his studies at Berklee College of Music, and relocated to New York after graduation in 2019.
