The Thelonious Monk Project with the Mark Travers Big Band
In September Hurstpierpoint Festival will be celebrating the life and times of jazz icon Thelonious Monk.
Hurstpierpoint is a village just north of Brighton and the Festival is now in its 13th year.
Mark Travers and his 12 piece big band will be presenting a snapshot of the Monk genius in music, film, dance and theatre and for this special performance Mark Travers has brought together an exceptional group of musicians.
The event will be held at Hurstpierpoint Village Centre on Saturday September 30th, marking the end of two weeks of a wide range of art, music and theatre in the village.
